OMG!!! LOVED the screen size, and the sound system for the Cine Capri!!!!!! It REALLY brought the movie to life! The only draw back was the seats recline all the way, but the head rests don’t come up. So, in order to see the screen you really can’t recline back all the way, but a small price to pay for the quality. We will TOTALLY be coming back!!!!

We did dine in, the food was delicious! The atmosphere was super comfortable. Will do it again. Highly recommend the food! Had a burger with fries, my son had the chicken tender meal, and we shared a vanilla shake (chocolate shake, no chocolate) it’s not on the menu. Enjoy!

I used to be loyal to you, buying all of your gimmicks, popcorn pass, loyalty cups, shirts when u had them. I enjoyed that I could buy the popcorn and utilize the free seasonings you used to have. Now everything is more expensive, by dollars, loyalty refills are almost twice the price, the sodas are almost 7 dollars now, you have to pay dollars for the seasonings. The ticket prices are more. Are you trying yo finalize your demise post pandemic because I’m debating even coming to harkins anymore. There are luxury theaters all over that offer a better experience for the same price why would I choose here now. You clearly don’t care about your loyal fans anymore.

Oh my goodness! This movie theatre is hands down our favorite in all of Phoenix. Every time we visit, the theatre is impeccably clean, and we can’t get enough of the Harkins Rewards program. It has become our annual Christmas gift to the entire family. During the challenging times of COVID, we sorely missed the experience of going to the movies. Now, whenever our favorite releases hit the screen, we make it a point to be there, popcorn in hand! And speaking of treats, our family is crazy about the ICEES too. The workers are always happy to mix the flavors just as we request. We highly recommend getting the cup of the year, especially if you have kids. It makes a great stocking stuffer! The staff is consistently helpful and kind, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a great theatre to catch all your favorite movies, we can’t recommend this one enough!

Google directions are for the front of the building near the bank. I drove around back and found the parking garage with an arrow for AMC dine-in. Handicap parking was limited. The elevator did not work and escalators only worked inbound. Theater is clean and you are greeted upon entering. I attended a private screening. Movie props are available for photos. There are 3 screens on each sides to order food. 1 bar. You can also purchase merchandise on the screen. Before making purchase you can also add your AMC rewards. Prices are comparable to a bar and grill. There was an employee walking around assisting customers on screen orders. Seats are properly labeled with a light up number. Trays are sturdy. An employee delivered popcorn and drinks with merchandise. I kept my receipt and reminded her about my classic burger order, she said someone else would bring it. Another employee brought it out 2-4 mins later. The classic burger was tasty but the cherry coke was a bit flat. If you aren’t very tall, the upper row has a restricted view. Bathrooms were clean and properly labeled with handicap stalls. The staff was friendly and courteous. Parking is validated (4 hours) and the machine is across from the bar. It’s placed in a table in front of customer service. You do it by yourself and it’s very convenient.

Sat in Auditorium 11. The seats were squeaky, the cup holders had debris in them from previous showings, you have to use a kiosk to order your items so you better get enough to last through the show, but the screen quality and sound quality were top notch. The temperature was comfortable and validated parking was a plus. If at all possible, go to a different AMC; this location is not that nice any more and you’ll enjoy the seating better else where. I would almost prefer the old school cloth stadium seating over these squeaky non-reclining high backs. Literally, every time any one moved during the show, that’s all you could here; especially during the quiet suspense scenes. Killed the vibe.

The theater was a little bit of a challenge to find where it was at and how to get to it. But once we found parking and were able to find a spot to park, we were then able to find the stairs to go up several flights of stairs to get to the entrance. Once we got to the top then we saw there was an elevator of course. Ordering of meals or other food was not so simple. They have unmanned kiosks out in the lobby that you have to use to place your order and tell them what seat you’re in and they would deliver it to you. The seats somewhat comfy we’re not reclining and we’re a little bit High as I’m a short person so my feet were kind of hanging off the seat not real comfortable. The table that they give you for dining is very very small and only swings to a certain closeness to you. I was afraid the entire time I was going to be spilling food down on my shirt so that was distracting me from the movie. While I like AMC theaters this is not one that I will return to.

Went to the Rock Horror Picture Show. It was awesome. The bar in the lobby is run well if relaxed. The “were all family here” vibe runs throughout the establishment. It’s a good thing. Only beer & wine and come early as the parking lot fills quickly. It’s a great time but really only for adults as it is a bar and people are getting tipsy. Go with a date and have a blast.

Amazing movie theater. Staff were polite and passionate about the theater and the films shown. I saw Pick of the Litter and Frankenstein. Before Frankenstein a history teacher and film buff gave the audience some facts about the movie and the genre which was super cool and the audience was really cool to be around. The guy who spoke also had an adorable dog who was just so well behaved. I would highly recommend this place. They have a great selection of beer as well!Michael KinkopfLocal Guide · 101 reviews · 104 photos5 years ago

With the triple digit AZ heat comes movie season, and there is no better place than Harkins Theatres. Regardless of the location, they have the current movies, best popcorn, fresh and buttery, cleanest theatres and bathrooms, and friendliest, most courteous staff. And, their easy to use App is so convenient! I have been to movie theatres all over the country, Harkins is the BEST!

This Harkins Theatre is a nice looking building. The place is vey clean and well kept. We got a pretty good deal for the Matinees entrances. The room was empty so it was only my party watching the movie. Very clean bathrooms! Nice movie theater ?? …Mariana Woodworth52 reviews7 months ago
I WENT TO HARKINS WITH MY FAMILY OF 7 TO SEE THE ANIMATED FILM ELEMENTAL AND I WAS OUTRAGED!!! I went up to the concessions stand to ask this teenage popcorn attendee to give us the freshest bag of some popcorn. To which he proceeded to grab the utmost bottom of the popcorn machine. I politely ask the attendee to get me some fresher popcorn. They walked over the another machine filled the bag up, and guess what happened. HE SPILT THE BAG ALL OVER THE DISGUSTING FLOORS. THEN THIS IMBICILE BEGINS PICKING UP THE DIRTY POPCORN WITH HIS HANDS AND PUTTING IT IN THE BAG, THINKING I WOULDN’T NOTICE. Infuriated I asked for a manager to which they rudely asked me to calm down. When no part of this scenario was of my wrong doing. I barged out of the theater leaving my poor children to have to miss out on the movie. This was the worst experience I have ever had at any establishment. IF I COULD RATE 0 STARS I WOULD!!!Jonathan D.2 reviews · 1 photo5 months ago

Not a bad amc at all. Don’t know how big some of the theaters are here but the one I was in was like 3 rows of seats which was fine. Good experience overall and clean.

AMC is located in Downtown Tempe. Visited Sunday 8/27/23 for 8:30 showing to see Strays. Cinema day, so movies were $4. Cinema was a mess and not very clean in regards to the floor. Popcorn everywhere! The theatre building overall is pretty small. Theatres are a decent size and have reclining chairs that fully recline all the way down to allow you to lay practically flat. You can easily fall asleep in one of those chairs, lol.. Seats are comfortable. Placed my reservation for tickets online and also ordered a premium popcorn (half oreo/half caramel) and a large drink for about $19. My order was delivered to my seat right at the scheduled time. Drink Station is a Coca-Cola freestyle machine that allows unlimited refills while there. However, the Sprite was flat and had no carbonation, so the floors being a mess and the Sprite not being up to par are reasons for my 4 stars.Amber VegaLocal Guide · 118 reviews · 949 photos3 months ago
I mean, can’t complain too much. its a 5 dollar for a movie that came out a few years ago… but the movie experience was fine besides people feeling the need to pay to whisper behind me the whole movie. that I could zone out, but they’re theater doors let way too much light in when people go to and from the viewing. it was distracting enough to take me put of the movie every time it happened. including when somehow a giant group of kids snuck in, made a bunch of noise and somehow had a bike with them? I got a glow in the dark a24 movie sticker though ✨insomnimatt6 reviews · 4 photos2 months ago

Great cinema experience with a nice selection of less-than-commercial films, which is just what I was looking for. They have multiple screens as well, which isn’t always the case for a good independent theatre. Good image – good sound – seats are comfy enough. Saw an early showing and it was only $8.

Overall I love the loft and their movie choices as well as Jeff doing a wonderful job as program director. I’m not sure if others have mentioned, but the popcorn could use improvement. It’s fairly bland. I suggest at least testing some options using better flavoring to be competitive.Kurtis Kegley16 reviews · 1 photoa month ago

This is a hidden gem in a sea of movie theaters. The theater is approximately half of the cost of others. It makes going out affordable, especially Tuesdays. It’s clean, including the restrooms. Concessions are affordable & good. Hot dogs are a buck & a half! We are a retired couple on a fixed income & have to watch our pennies more than we used to, so this is nice. I highly recommend this place.

This place had been around since the 90s it upgraded the entire mall area it use to be right outside to left the big stage thing they have. Use to be a reptile slide and cave rock area when I was teenager up til my mid 20s I think. Iv been coming to this movie area for years and the name had changed but it is very cool and fun stilll awesome prices and I remember summer time when kids were out there use to be reruns of older movies . I haven’t been here in some time . But this place is such nostalgia for us who grew up going here. I love it.Lilly V Gutierrez (Lotus doll Little)Local Guide · 9 reviews · 7 photosa month ago

They have really stepped up their game at this location. I wondered why they were a little bit more expensive than the Harkins theater near my house. Well, it is obvious when you walk in. It is very clean inside, and the seats are adjustable and reclining. Absolutely worth the few extra bucks per ticket.

Love going to Harkins for family activity. Always a good time to beat the heat during the summer days or just winding down for the day. Great food and drink selection, something for everyone. ?surprisingly, their burgers are about same price as a large bag of popcorn…I chose the burger! ? …Jason HarrisLocal Guide · 292 reviews · 1,460 photos6 months ago
2 stars mainly for the Cine bar. The Barbie movie was highly publicized with the cocktail special so I specifically bought tickets from this theater because they have a bar and a drink special. We arrived half an hour early to be sure we had time but the bartender called out. The people covering the bar did not have a recipe for the cocktail so I had to settle for a bottled drink because they did not know how to make cocktails. The couples next to us also had to order a different drink because their beer was not pouring correctly. We ordered food as well so after the whole wait our movie had already started. I know people call out but there were no steps taken to prepare the bar for customers. This was in the afternoon opening week so I would hope it would have been an easier experience. Pic is what I wanted vs. what I got.Joy Mataalii3 reviews · 1 photo4 months ago

Wanna know why I still push out Google reviews knowing there’s zero ROI for all my wasted time and effort? Could be that my old pal OCD or his long-time BESTIE, Mr. Mental illness, are to blame. I just dunno! But it certainly ain’t the perks because there aren’t any. So, since I can’t stop myself, I’m compelled to write another one. I’m many years late to the party when it comes to the movie theater/restaurant concept, but now I’m a huge fan of the Majestic Tempe 7. Just to clarify, the cuisine is miles away from gourmet, still, the food is good enough for MY unpretentious palate. Seriously, if you put the right sauce on it, I’d eat a cardboard box AND the person holding it. But food isn’t the reason people come to the Majestic. It’s not even the movies. It’s the thrill of being able to legally drink alcohol without having to illegally sneak it in. And all that booze makes it fun to fumble around in the pitch dark trying to guess what’s actually on your plate using only touch, smell, and taste to guide you. HOT TIP: If you take a date to a weekday matinee and feel a bit amorous, it’s likely you’ll find yourselves the only two people in the theater. Just sayin’….

Clean atmosphere, there was lots of parking available, very kind and welcoming customer service. Prices went up about 25 cents. First time at this theater, and we will continue our routine in going every 2 weeks here from now on. There are food courts all around for a quick bite before or after the movies as well.

Had a great experience going to see The Sound of Freedom. The main area was clean and spacious with lots of workers for the concession stand with no wait time. The theater itself was nice and cool with A/C, very clean and updated with the new slight recliners. Very comfortable. I recommend purchasing tickets before on app and you can select your seats if you have a preference! As you exit the theater the have large trash bins to dispose of your garbage which was convenient.m malinas5Local Guide · 109 reviews · 240 photos4 months ago
