I moved in December 2019 in 2020 we had little fixes here and there and older maintenance guy was rude and messy never cleaning up after himself. 2021 my ac was leaking right above my washer and dryer. The guy came and stopped it from leaking but didn’t bother to clean up the water or check things out for water damage. I asked what about the water and he told me there is air flow so it’ll be fine. Now March 2023 new maintenance guy (luis) my washer goes out and I was told I would have to get a new one but they will have to order it because they don’t have any at the moment. They call to say the washer is in and will change it out when they get the chance. After three times being told he will come tomorrow to change it out and almost a month with no washer I called a 4th time not so nice saying this is ridiculous and it needs to be changed. The next day it was. Now Oct 2023 my AC went out and called the emergency line so they brought over a portable ac and the kid said he wasn’t certified so he can’t look at it. The next day Monday we had someone look at it but again they didn’t know how to fix it or weren’t certified. Tuesday asked to see if anyone was going to fix the ac since it still was not fixed. No one working was certified or something to fix my ac so they had to call someone from a sister property just to get my ac fixed 4 days later with high 90s low 100s temp. Almost a week later I told them thay I wanted maintenance to come look at the wall thay my picture frame was on because it had mold on it and on the wall. The same guy that I must of pi$$ed off from the whole washer thing comes in to look at the wall and was here for less than 2 minutes and kept poking the wall with a moisture tester saying everything is fine and I asked him to check the panel where it was leaking from back in 2021 and being a smart a$$ sticks the moisture tester in the middle of the panel that goes to the ac. He said nothing it’s 0% and then says okay and leaves. So I called the office and told them I want a mold inspector to come out because he didn’t do a good job checking it out and he was very rude to me. They had some company come out called zero chemicals and these people showed up to my door with no work shirts no identification. The lady that did the testing came in a spaghetti strap dress, sorry but that was a big red flag for me. Anyways the mold test was 10/27/2023 exactly a week later November 3rd around 1pm I called the office to see if they got the results. No one answered so I left a message. No called back the 4th, office is closed Sunday the 5th. So I call Monday the 6th and was told Autumn was on break but I will receive a call when she comes back, no call back. Tuesday the 7th I called and was told Autumn was busy and she will call me back. She did call back. I asked if she got the results and she said yes actually just got them an hour ago and just didn’t have the time to call you about the results. So they were positive for two different types of mold. I then asked okay what is going to happen because I don’t feel safe with my family there. My son has tourette’s and his tics have gotten progressively worse over the past two years and always sneezing and coughing. Me I have 18 different mold exposure symptoms including one they could clearly see my eczema has been so bad and out of control. She asked do you have anywhere else you can go and I said probably not unless we can have my boyfriends job transferred sooner than originally planned. Then asked if they would set us up in a hotel and she said they don’t do that. I asked if we can be put into a new unit until our lease is over and she said she didn’t have any available. So she then asked do you want me to have a company come out to sanitize your apartment or just wait… the next day the 8th I believe I asked her to email me the test results of the mold. For some reason she didn’t email it to me she just printed it and gave me the copy. On that copy it shows that she actually didn’t receive the results 11/7 but it was 10/31. I will be going to corporate.

Based on experience, this isnt the worst place for the cost. Actually more expensive places offer less for the cost and do not maintain their grounds or follow up on service. Over the months and through COVID they struggled to fully staff maintenance and maintain the over 400 apartments. Deb is straight forward and will work with you if your willing to take the time to follow up. DOCUMENTATION is key for any place you rent. There is an okay amount of storage and no garage. Storage units close by. Overall the grounds are well kept and pools only go down for regular maintenance except one that has been down for a while. Regular pest control. Pretty quiet most of the time. Mostly friendly people who respect others, minus the few disrespectful, which you’ll get anywhere. They slowly weed themselves out. Police patrol regularly and will work with office on issues. Some nice views of mountains and sunset around the property. Close proximity to lots in the area.

I lived here for 2 years. Over all okay. Expensive for what you get. The units are very old but mine had updated appliances. Electric bill WILL be high if you like it keep it around 70-72. Ours was regularly around 250+ in summer and around 150 in winter. I was on the 3rd floor, 1bed 1bath. The grounds were regularly kept. Lots of pools to chose from. I really wanted to use the jacuzzi but it was closed for months. I had quiet neighbors. Lots of smokers. Maintenance came in a timely manner. My ac went out and they ordered a new unit and it was fixed within 5/6 days. They told me they would give me a portable AC in the meantime but never did. Sucked bc I had a 3 week old baby but they still never brought one. Front office is nice but after like a year of living there I needed to contact them more often for various reasons. They didn’t really like that. Johana in particular. I guess one you need too much they get annoyed. But they are willing to work with you in Whatever you need. Also, never had any issues with bugs! So all in all, it’s okay.

This hike is beautiful. If you are hiking from the east side, it is a little over 3 miles to the top. It is a climb up…. but nothing too crazy. Wonderful views and several stream crossings. If you go over the divide to the west trail head, it will add about 1.75 additional miles to your outbound trek. It is a steep climb from the west back to the top.

10 mile round trip hike to the road on the west side and back to campground on eastside. The trail to the top was in good condition with several stream crossings. The trail from summit to the west was overgrown with grass and weeds in places but passable. Nice views of several rock formations along the trail.

Very pretty. “Closed for the season”. Don’t know what that meant but we hiked around and found the plant identification trail. That was great. The road is rough. Not for RVs or very low cars. You will cross several “creeks”. It had rained the 3 days prior so there was some water in them. Saw a few deer. I can understand how Cochise could keep people safe there. Crazy terrain. TAKE LOTS OF WATER on the hike. If you have dogs, on leash should be observed.
